Brushes With Greatness
Here's a chance to impress the Universe with the famous people you have been within 20 feet of.
When Viv and I worked at the Missing Inn, we saw, in order of importance:
1. Mohamed Ali.
2. Adam Ant.
3. Liz Taylor and her son.
4. Ann Landers or Abigail Van Buren (They look alike. Same doo. So who knows).
5. Les Brown without his Band of Renown.
6. Kelly Lange, Paul Moyers and James Coco (Three way tie).
I dare ya. Beat Adam Ant if ya can.

Some beautiful blond starlet in 1957...I'll have to ask my dad what her name was.
My celebrities are ho-hum.
I knew Christine Jorgenson. She was pretty cool.
I partied with Cleavon Little. The dude loved his cocaine.
I goofed around with David Koechner backstage at the Craig Ferguson show.
I had a very nice conversation with Todd Rundgren once.
I waited on Pete Wilson at Licorice Pizza when he was mayor of San Diego. I also waited on Martin Milner.
I worked for Werner Erhard helping to manage his art collection. Never met him, tho.
Billy Barty. Did a show with him. Other showmates: Juliet Prouse, Ron Ely, Jack Carter, Jon Cullum and Eric Burdon. Oh anf Paul Lukather, the guy that starred in that old B Monster Movie Dinosaurus.
eric burdon?
Yeah. A band I was in opened (1970ish?)for him and the (Sky Pilot) Animals at the Schwing. Andy Summers was their guitarist and Eric was sort of a short wienie. He lives in Joshua Tree now.
Buffalo Springfield were the second act, but only Dewey Martin or Weber was left. One's a surfboard, one's the drummer. I can never remember which.
Who opened for the doors when you were holding Morrison's pants?
